Our trainer Kate Robertson is a registered nurse who qualified in 1974. Since qualifying she has worked in all areas of orthopaedic nursing and obtained her orthopaedic nursing certificate in 1979.
Kate then trained as a Manual Handling Instructor many years ago and delivered training to all staff within the Specialist Surgery Unit. In 2000 Kate relocated to Bonnie Scotland where she was born and bred.
Following her return to Scotland she then retrained as a Moving and Handling instructor in 2001 and has been delivering training since. Since than Kate has trained in various topics such as First Aid, Elder Abuse, Challenging Behaviour, Dementia, Delivering Dignified Care, Basic Life Support, and Food Hygiene. Kate delivers these courses throughout Scotland to our various clients.
Her services and her own skills are assessed and updated every 2 years.
